As a dedicated contractor specialty lumberyard, our focus is 100% on the professional builder — and it has been since 1985. We proudly serve some of the finest home builders, multi-family contractors, general contractors, and commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in the industry. Whether you need lumber, engineered wood products (EWP), I-joists, trusses, or building materials — we stock it all, and we know what you need to get the job done.
Our reach is extensive. We serve all of Alberta, the Yukon, the Territories, and even into Alaska. Our fleet of delivery trucks is a familiar sight throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas — and our long hauls have delivered building materials from the West Coast to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and from the U.S. border all the way north to Inuvik. Wherever your project is, we’ll deliver — on time and ready to build.

Five generations of expertise
There have been five generations of Clements in the industry dating back to 1887. In 1985 with big dreams and a strong work ethic, Karen and Tom Clement (right) purchased Mission Building Supplies. Their philosophy was then and still is today, to acknowledge every customer regardless of the size of their project. In 2010, Karen Clement was Western Retail Lumber Association's first woman President in its 120 year history! Tom Clement served on the board of Castle Building Centre Group for six years, and was Chairman of the Board for two years.
Today their son, Don Clement (above, left), is the President of Mission Building Supplies and a Director of Castle Building Centres Group Ltd.

Giving Back
At Mission Building Supplies, giving back to the communities we help build is a true passion. Don Clement is often seen making a difference, whether to raise funds for a playground in Lake Hudson or taking a dip in the dunk tank at the grand opening of the Oxford playground.
We regularly donate high-quality building supplies to ReStores, which are then sold to fund Habitat for Humanity’s charitable initiatives. The profits generated from ReStores go directly toward supporting Habitat for Humanity's charitable work to unite communities and help families build strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership.
Since 2009, we’ve proudly supported Stars Air Ambulance by contributing materials for the construction of the STARS annual lottery home.
In 2024, for Movember, we raised $17,812 for men's health issues, focusing on prostate cancer.
